In this article we will show you a trick by which you can copy or move your emails from one email account to another one. This is much beneficial when you move your hosting from one to another hosting provider.

 

 

 

There is several software available freely over the internet. However they require installing on your computer and may not work always. We will show how to copy emails from one mail account to other via any IMAP client software like "Outlook Express" (Also applied on other IMAP clients like "Mozilla Thunderbird" or "Microsoft Outlook 2010"). Normally this "Outlook Express" is preinstalled in Microsoft Windows XP (very common operating system) operating system. You may also try this method with other POP/IMAP clients. This method will always work and can be used for copy all the mail folders to other email account.

 

 

 

This method supposed that you have access to your emails at both old and new hosting provider (Or both two email accounts). I suggest performing this action just before changing the Name Server at registrar.

 

 

 

Step 1. Create your all email accounts at new hosting provider (Like groupaaa.com).

 

Step 2. Configure your source and target email account with IMAP setting in POP/IMAP Client.

 

Step 3. Now you have two email accounts in your email client. One source and the other one is target email account. Configure your email client to show all the folders for source and target email accounts.

 

Step 4. Select your emails under source email account's folder and copy them by pressing Control-C from keyboard. You may also copy them by selecting Copy from right mouse click menu.

 

Step 5. Select your target email's folder and press Control-V. You may also paste them by selecting Paste from right mouse click menu.

 

 

 

This trick can apply for all the source folders like "Sent Items", Draft etc. If your source account is POP, you can only copy your INBOX emails to target email account.

 

 

 

Follow these steps for your other email accounts to copy them at new hosting provider.
